Pocket Storm

Pocket Storm is an environmental sound player that can play continuously changing thunderstorm sounds for up to an hour.

It all starts on a quiet summer night. Soon you'll hear thunder in the distance, followed by the sound of the wind and a light rain. After half an hour, the storm intensifies. Near the end of the hour, the thunderstorm fades back into the late night. Then, it starts to loop again.

Pocket Storm is different from other environmental sound apps. Each thunderstorm is unique! The sound of the wind, rain, thunder - even the chirping of crickets - each sound is selected from a sound library, with some subtle changes in pitch and timing. Pocket Storm weaves these elements into a musical composition of sound that never repeats.

Pocket Storm can be used as white noise, to tune out distractions, or to help with relaxation, meditation, or falling asleep. You can make it rain in the desert or make the streets of the city come alive with the chirping of crickets.
