Waybound — Group Trip Planner

Plan trips with friends without the 200-message group chat.

Waybound is one shared place for a group trip. Everyone throws ideas in, says what they think, and the plan comes together from what the group actually agrees on — no one person stuck deciding for everybody.

START IN A MINUTE
Say where you're going and roughly when — "no idea yet" is a fine answer. Share one link and your friends are in. They can see the trip's name, dates and who's going before they even sign in.

DECIDE TOGETHER
• Search for places, look at the results, then keep them on your own board or propose them to the crew
• Vote I'm in, Either way or Not for me, and talk each idea over
• Lock in what the group agrees on, and put it on a day
• See how far every place is from where you're staying
• Suggestions shaped by everyone's budget and travel taste, each with the reason it was picked

EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE
• Plan: the trip laid out day by day, across every city on the route
• Booked: flights, stays and reservations — paste or forward a confirmation email, or add it by hand. Flight times show in the right local time zone at each end
• Costs: record who paid, see the running total and who owes whom
• To Do: one shared checklist for the whole crew
• Save from anywhere: share a link from Safari, Instagram or any app straight into a trip

WHAT WE WON'T DO
• We won't invent places. Every pick is a named, findable place.
• We won't invent prices. You get a price band, never a made-up number.
• We won't be steered. Some links earn us a commission; it never changes what we suggest.

AI features — suggestions, reading a booking you paste, and capturing an idea from a link — always ask before they send anything, and can be switched off in Settings. Everything else keeps working without them.
