This is a single-station logging console. You are dealing with cover shots and call sheets, not a raw footage library.

Extract 12 still frames daily. Unscouted slots are "blind": you must first assess color temperature, time of day, and on-screen subjects before calling the shot—only after processing do you see the actual "heat" (viewer engagement potential). Assign the cover shot or drag clips into slots 01–06 (HOOK, SPARK, TURN, CRUSH, FAKE, CLIFF) while adhering to the evening's constraints. Adjacent clips with matching colors and times require a straight cut; FAKE slots should cool down the tone, while CLIFF slots should ramp it up. Placing clips blindly results in point deductions when the board is locked.

Once the board is locked, you can review the "rush" and pin the final result to the project wall. Inside the editing suite, you’ll also handle four-frame sequences, alignment, timing errors, "sparks," and heat forging—all of which factor into your "Rush Ink" score.
