Google rewrote this exam. The 2026 blueprint expects an Associate Cloud Engineer to work "supported by AI tooling": Gemini Cloud Assist, the Gemini CLI, Agent Runtime on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Database Center alongside the classic operator topics. Most prep material still predates that.
75 practice questions, current with the blueprint
Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run and App Engine
Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL
VPCs, subnets, firewall rules and load balancing
IAM, service accounts and least privilege
Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging and the Ops Agent
Gemini-powered AI tooling now named in the exam guide
Every answer explains the rule
Not just which option was right, but why and why the others were not. That is the difference between recognising a question you have seen and understanding the one you have not.
Nothing here is out of date
Questions written against retired terminology were rewritten, not reworded. There is nothing on Stackdriver, because Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging replaced it and the monitoring and logging agents it used are now the single Ops Agent, which is a different answer, not a different name.
Built for flights
Everything ships inside the app. Nothing is fetched, nothing streams, nothing checks an account on launch — so airplane mode, the subway and a dead-zone basement all behave exactly the same as full signal.
