Lunka gives you a walk to take and someone to take it with. It turns the steps you
have left today into a real route from your door, and it keeps you going by putting
a few people you know on the other end of it.

Everyone knows they should walk more. That is not the hard part. The hard part is
that walking alone gets boring around day four, and then it stops happening.

And most people who walk together are not training. They are talking, and the
walking is almost incidental. Very little is built for that. You either get a cold
meter counting numbers at you, or something built for performance, where a slow
hour with a friend leaves you feeling like a tourist in a runner's world.

Lunka is the quiet one.

You invite a few people you actually know. That is the whole network. There are no
public profiles, no discover tab, no followers, and nothing to win. You can see that
someone in your circle walked today, and you can ask them out for six o'clock, and
that is about as social as it gets. If you say yes, it goes in your calendar with a
reminder, because something in a feed is forgotten by lunch.

It also solves the problem that ends most evening walks before they start: 4,000
steps left, and no idea what that actually means. Lunka turns it into a route. Not a number, an actual loop drawn
from your door, roughly the right length, back where you started. Twenty minutes if
that is what you have. Three kilometres if you would rather think in distance. If
the route looks dull, one tap draws another, and it tries not to repeat the ground
you covered last week. It skips stairs when you are pushing a pram. It checks the
forecast and tells you the one hour today that is worth going out in, which in
Sweden in November is a genuinely useful thing to know.

Streaks are forgiving. Miss a day once you have built one up and it survives, and
the app tells you so before you have time to feel bad about it. Weeks have weather
in them. That is not a feature, it is just how life works.
