nothing to sign up for — just your files, on your device.

WIDE FORMAT SUPPORT
FLAC, ALAC, MP3, AAC, M4A, WAV, AIFF, plus APE, OGG, OPUS, WMA, DSD, WavPack and
more via a bundled decoder. Hi-Res output plays at the file's own sample rate
instead of resampling it.

YOUR LIBRARY, ORGANISED
Browse by song, album, artist, genre or folder. Search everything. Mark
favourites, rate tracks, and let smart playlists collect songs by rule — they
update themselves as your library grows.

REAL PLAYBACK CONTROL
Gapless playback for albums, crossfade for shuffles, a 10-band equalizer with
presets, playback speed, volume gain and stereo balance, and a sleep timer.

LYRICS
Reads LRC files, word-by-word lyrics, and lyrics embedded in your audio files.
No timings? Paste the words, play the song, and tap along — Trove writes the
timestamps for you. macOS gets a floating desktop lyrics window.

BRING MUSIC IN, ANY WAY YOU LIKE
Add local folders, open files from the Files app, connect to WebDAV (including
cloud drives that speak it) or an SMB / NAS share, or upload from your computer's
browser over Wi-Fi — no cable, no iTunes.

EDIT TAGS PROPERLY
Fix titles, artists, albums, genres, comments, track numbers and artwork. Changes
can be written back into the file itself, not just the app's database — and your
embedded lyrics survive the edit.

ON EVERY SCREEN YOU OWN
CarPlay in the car: browse the music on your device by playlist, album, artist or
song, and shuffle it from the dashboard. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets for
Now Playing and lyrics. Standalone Apple Watch playback — transfer songs to your
watch and leave your phone at home. Siri shortcuts. On Mac, a menu bar mini
player and media key support.

OPTIONAL AI, ON YOUR TERMS
Build a playlist from a description, or tidy up messy tags. Uses the on-device
model where available, so it runs offline. A third-party endpoint can be used
instead — but only if you turn it on and supply your own API key.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Trove has no servers of its own and collects nothing about you or your music. Lookups
for lyrics, artwork and song details go straight to public music databases, and only
when you ask — or when you turn automatic lookup on.
