Instead of picking one sound, build your own mix — layer rain, ocean waves, wind, campfire crackle, thunder, and a chorus of night crickets with a choice of fans (box, tower, ceiling, window AC, large floor, and small desk), soft ambient music pads, and classic white, pink, and brown noise. Each sound gets its own volume slider, so your mix is exactly yours.

Set a sleep timer by duration or by an exact end time, and it fades out smoothly instead of cutting off. Your mix keeps playing through the lock screen, complete with cover art and playback controls, so you never have to unlock your phone just to hit pause.

Save your favorite mixes for one-tap access, choose from 5 color themes, and use the app in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, or Japanese.

Everything is generated right on your device — no internet connection needed. No tracking of you across other companies' apps or websites, and nothing shared with data brokers.

I built Quiet Room for myself, in a year when AI finally made something like this achievable alone — then kept building whatever people asked for. No team, no investors, and no roadmap written by anyone but the people using it. And no subscription: falling asleep shouldn't cost a monthly fee.
