Every photo remembers how it was taken. PhotoView shows you — camera, lens, aperture, shutter, ISO, location and IPTC — in an overlay you can dismiss with a single tap.

VIEW
• Browse your whole library, your own albums, shared albums and smart albums.
• Photos, Live Photos and videos full screen. Swipe to the next photo, pinch to zoom, double-tap for fit or fill.
• Mark favorites — one photo, or a whole selection at once.
• Multi-select to add to an album, remove from an album, delete, or play as a slideshow.
• Create albums and folders while you browse.

METADATA
• Camera and lens — make, model, lens, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focal length with 35 mm equivalent, exposure program, metering, white balance and flash, decoded into plain language.
• Computational capture — HDR gain maps, depth and disparity, portrait and segmentation mattes, spatial and cinematic video, time-lapse and slow motion, Live Photo identifiers.
• Video — duration, codec, frame rate, bit rate, audio codec, sample rate and channels.
• Your layout — pick the fields, set the size and the font size (small, medium, large), drag the overlay into any corner.

• Metadata presets: keep the fields you want for each job and switch the whole overlay in one tap from the viewer's toolbar. “Standard” and “All fields” come built in; your own presets (PhotoView Pro) sync through iCloud and come along in backups. Manage them in Settings ▸ Metadata.
• Search Help: type a word to find every topic that mentions it, with the matches highlighted, other forms of the word found too, and “Did you mean …?” for a typo.
• Made for iPhone Duo: open, the grids spread over two pages and the overlay and controls stay clear of the fold; fold or unfold, and you stay on your photo, your video or your page of the tour.
• Arrange the viewer's toolbar in Settings ▸ General: choose the order of Favorite, Metadata preset, Share and Delete, keep any of them in “…”, or hide it. Settings and Help are in “…” as well.
• Raw files converted to DNG in Lightroom now show their Nikon and Canon maker notes, and every DNG its camera profile and raw data ID.

IMPROVED
• At the largest text sizes, album titles no longer break mid-word, the Pro offer stays in view, and the support address and the overlay's heading keep to their lines.
• The slideshow settings show every row again, “Show metadata” included, and durations follow the app's language.
• The Pro buttons and badge are easier to read.
• Live Photos set to Loop or Bounce prepare their clip only when you look at them, so swiping through them is lighter.

FIXED
• Once you own Pro, the free trial's “ends tomorrow” reminder no longer appears.
• A slideshow no longer stops at a video that can't be played, such as one offline in iCloud, and videos in a slideshow play to their end.
• Over AirPlay, Rewind works every time, and Shuffle moves the same way on the TV as on your device.
• Photos with impossible GPS coordinates no longer break the map, and blank values no longer appear as empty rows.
• Shutter speeds such as 0.8 s, lens specifications and XMP dates now read correctly.
• When iCloud settings sync asks which settings to keep, your answer now applies to every field, and nothing changes while the question is open.
