Consoles can't type in a server address. CouchPortal fixes that.

Pick a server on your phone. Open Minecraft on your PlayStation or Xbox, go to Friends, and the server is there under LAN Games. Tap it and you're in. The console connects straight to the server; the phone is not a relay and is out of the loop the moment you join.

WHICH CONSOLES

PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4: yes.
Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One: yes.
Nintendo Switch: no. The Switch has no LAN Games list at all, so this method cannot reach it. We say so up front because we'd rather you knew before downloading.

HOW IT WORKS

Your console is always looking for games on your home Wi‑Fi. CouchPortal answers that call from your phone, completes the handshake, and hands the console off to the real server. It uses Minecraft's own local-network feature and its own server-transfer mechanism. It does not modify the game.

WHAT YOU NEED

Your phone and your console on the same Wi‑Fi network, and a server address from your host. If your server uses Geyser, use the Bedrock port, not the Java one; the app will tell you if you mix them up.

SUPPORT

Help and a contact form are at couchportal.com/support. If something goes wrong, the app can send a problem report with one tap: what server you chose, whether it answered, and what the app did. No name, no email, nothing that identifies you.
