Wavebender

Wavebender turns your iPhone into an instrument you play in the air — like a real theremin, but in your pocket.

Hold your phone in landscape. Your right hand sweeps pitch left and right. Your left hand controls volume — raise it for more sound. No screen touches while you play.

BUILT FOR MUSICIANS
• Continuous pitch with scale snap — from pure theremin to locked pentatonics
• Minor pentatonic, blues, harmonic minor, and more
• Pinch the stage to zoom your pitch range; pan to shift the starting note
• Play-space calibration maps the ruler to your reach
• Pitch-hand height adds expressive vibrato
• Triangle, sine, saw, and FM voices with hall reverb
• Motion prediction and smoothing tuned for playable latency

STUDIO OUTPUT
• Sends MPE MIDI to your DAW or hardware — over USB to a Mac, a network MIDI session, or a MIDI interface
• Continuous pitch bend and expressive control — no extra purchase required

HONEST ENGINEERING
• Front-camera hand tracking runs on device — video never leaves your phone
• TrueDepth distance readouts on supported iPhones
• Bluetooth audio warning when latency would ruin the feel
• Landscape play designed for iPhone

A serious pocket instrument — not a touch toy. Requires a front-facing camera and good lighting on your hands.
