Declic — Couple Camera

One of you holds the camera. The other one decides.

Declic puts his camera on your screen. He points his phone at you, and you see the frame he is composing, from where you are standing. Frame it. Zoom in. Take it when you're ready.

A countdown gives you time to put your phone down before it fires, so it is out of the picture. Three frames are taken instead of one, so you are not stuck with the shot where you blinked. Then you choose which ones to keep.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Pair the two phones once, in person. Both show a six-digit code; compare them and you are done.
2. One of you holds the camera. The other one takes the photo.
3. See the live view on your own screen. Pick your zoom. Fire when you like.
4. Put your phone down during the countdown.
5. Keep the frames you want.

SHOW HIM THE POSE

Send him the photo you want to copy. It sits faintly over his screen, so the shot is lined up before you are even in it.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

The two phones talk directly to each other over the local network. Nothing goes through a server while you are shooting.

Photos you save to your shared album are private to the two of you. They are sent over an encrypted connection, stored encrypted, and only your two accounts can open them.

There is no feed, no profiles, no strangers, and no way for anyone to reach you. To send you anything at all, someone has to have stood next to you and compared a six-digit code.

SHARED ALBUM — SUBSCRIPTION

Album & Photo Guide keeps every photo you decide to keep on both phones, and unlocks the photo guide.

One subscription covers both of you — only one person pays. Monthly or yearly, and the yearly works out cheaper. It renews automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel any time in Settings. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.

Taking photos is free, and always will be.
