Buying this app is a way to directly support the OpenWorm project [1]. OpenWorm is an open source project dedicated to creating the world’s first virtual organism in a computer, starting with a C.elegans nematode.
The C. elegans 3D model is provided courtesy of Dr. Christian Grove and Dr. Paul Sternberg at the VirtualWorm[2] project (WormBase, CalTech).
