PRIVATE AND READ-ONLY, BY DESIGN
• Ascend is read-only — it can never move money, trade, or make transfers
• It never sees your brokerage password; read-only linking is handled by SnapTrade
• Your linked credentials are encrypted at rest with a key separate from the database
• Request account deletion from Settings — Ascend immediately locks the account, then revokes supported connections and erases user-scoped app data. If a provider is temporarily unavailable, deletion stays pending for automatic retry. An active App Store subscription does not block deletion, but Apple billing must be managed separately.
