BrewTrax is a brewing journal for people who take coffee seriously. Not a timer, not a notes app — a proper ledger of what you brewed, how it tasted, and what to change tomorrow morning.

THE RITUAL, STEP BY STEP
Choose your method and BrewTrax sets the ratio, water temperature and phase timings to match. Pour-over, espresso, AeroPress, Chemex, French press, Moka pot and cold brew each get a live timer with the phases they actually need — bloom, pours, drawdown.

A SHELF THAT KNOWS ITS AGE
Log a bag once: roaster, origin, process, roast level, whole bean or pre-ground. Freshness follows the roast date, so you can see which bag is still resting, which is at peak, and which is fading. Stock ticks down as you brew.

TASTE, RECORDED PROPERLY
Rate a cup on five axes — acidity, sweetness, body, bitterness, aroma. The tasting radar builds a picture of what you actually like, drawn from every cup you have logged rather than the one you happen to remember.

THE LEDGER
Every session is kept: dose, yield, grind setting, temperature, time, gear and notes. Filter by method, roaster, score or date. Mark the best cup a bean ever gave you, then pull those exact numbers back when you brew it again.

INSIGHTS
A heatmap of the weeks you brewed and the weeks you did not. Your palate shifting over months. Which grind setting keeps producing your highest scores.

THE COMMONS
A shared library of recipes with the full methodology — ingredients, steps, target numbers, the reasoning behind them. Save what works. Publish your own.

WET HANDS MODE
Larger targets, bigger labels, wider spacing — for the part of the brew where your hands are wet and the kettle is already pouring.
