Every part of the Solent is open from the moment you install. The free chart runs at reduced resolution and steps in two-hour intervals, and it works entirely offline. No account, no sign-up, no trial timer.

WHAT A SUBSCRIPTION ADDS

Full-resolution tidal streams — the complete model rather than a sampled version of it, so narrow water like Hurst and the Needles Channel resolves properly instead of averaging away.

Fifteen-minute time stepping, so you can find slack water and the turn of the tide precisely rather than guessing between two-hour snapshots.

The course builder — drop marks, set the wind, and see the true wind angle on every leg with the tide underneath it. Useful for planning a beat, and for working out whether the tide or the breeze decides the leg.

Once downloaded, the full chart is stored on your device and works offline.

Tidey Solent — GBP 19.99 per year, billed annually.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. Manage or cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions after purchase.
