Klik is a creative project builder. Whether you are making something in a day or over a year, it holds the whole piece of work: the plan, everything you gather, and what you make from it.

PLAN IT

Start a project and shape it in sections you name yourself: the opening, getting there, the thing you came for, the close. Write what each section needs before you go, keep a checklist, and start from a template when you work the same way twice. Paste in a plan you wrote elsewhere and Klik builds the project from it.

DOCUMENT IT AS YOU GO

Shoot straight into a section, or drop in photographs, clips, notes, voice memos and places. Drag them into the order they should be seen and trim a clip to the seconds worth keeping. Record a narration over a clip, mute a clip's own sound, and put words on it exactly where they belong on the picture and in time.

MAKE THE VIDEO

Klik cuts what a project holds into a finished video and saves it to your photo library, wide for a screen or tall for a feed. Give each section its own music, which eases in, eases out and ducks under anything spoken. Choose a film look for the whole cut or section by section, and preview any section before you make it.

PUBLISH IT

Klik writes the parts nobody enjoys: a cover frame built from your own photograph, a title, tags, and a description you can paste straight into YouTube, with chapter marks taken from the video you actually made. Add an affiliate link to a piece of gear, and when that gear is in the video, the link goes into the description.

YOUR PLACES

Keep the places worth going back to on a map that holds nothing else. Drop a pin, search for somewhere, or bring in a whole list from GPX, GeoJSON or CSV. See what is worth walking to nearby, and open directions in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Uber.

THE LIGHT

See where the sun will be through the day, when golden hour and blue hour fall, and what the light will do at a place you saved. A lock screen widget keeps the next good light in front of you.
