Cups to grams, exactly
Convert between 20 units — grams, ounces, cups, tablespoons, millilitres, Fahrenheit, Celsius — using real cooking definitions rather than rounded approximations. A cup of flour and a cup of sugar do not weigh the same, and Kitchenette knows the difference.

Any recipe, your tin
Scale a recipe from the tin it was written for to the tin you actually own. Round, square or rectangular, by true area ratio, with every ingredient recalculated.

Know what's in your fridge
Scan a barcode and the product fills itself in. Kitchenette tracks best-before dates across your fridge and freezer and shows the week ahead at a glance, so nothing hides at the back of a shelf until it's too late.

A nudge before it turns
One quiet reminder two days before something expires — one a morning at most, never a stream of them. A Home Screen or Lock Screen widget shows what's about to go without opening the app.

Dinner from what you already have
Kitchenette matches your own recipes against your fridge and tells you what's ready to cook tonight and what you're short of. On supported devices it can invent something new from your ingredients — worked out entirely on your device, using Apple Intelligence.

Cook from it
Step-by-step cooking mode keeps the screen awake and moves one step at a time, with tappable times that become timers. Export any recipe as a clean PDF to print or send.

Redesigned for iPad
Not a stretched phone app: a sidebar, your recipe list, and the recipe itself open side by side, in every orientation and in Split View.

Yours, and private
Your fridge and your calculations stay on your device. Recipes sync over your own iCloud only if you turn it on, and go to Apple rather than to us. The only thing that ever leaves is a barcode you choose to scan.
