Recapp - Private Notes

Recapp turns meetings into notes with Private Azure Cloud. Sign-in and internet are required for AI processing.

FREE AND PRO
Free includes 10 meetings per UTC month, 30 minutes per meeting, three questions per meeting and the Personal vault. Pro provides unlimited meetings with a two-hour limit per meeting, unlimited questions, additional vaults and Reports summaries. Pro can choose approved cloud models for transcription, summaries and chat; Free uses the standard models.

Manage your Recapp account and existing Pro access from Library > Settings. On iPhone, available purchase and subscription-management actions use native App Store billing. Restore Purchases is available in Account; subscription options and prices depend on App Store availability. One active device per Recapp account; activating another device transfers access.

CAPTURE AND REVISIT
Record nearby speech using your iPhone microphone, or import audio. A recording deliberately started by you can continue when you go to the Home Screen or lock your iPhone. Recapp does not capture other apps’ internal audio or phone-call audio, and does not join calls automatically. Review transcripts, summaries and questions grounded in your notes. Write and edit Markdown, link related notes, explore Connections and export your work. Clear note actions make it easier to open a conversation, pin or export a note and redo its summary. Untitled recordings can receive a specific title when summarized; your own titles are preserved. Choose a default startup vault in My vaults, subject to your plan. Pro can connect Outlook calendars with separate read-only consent and combine multiple accounts in one calendar view. Google Calendar is currently restricted to listed testing accounts while broader OAuth verification is not complete. Other connectors remain previews. Calendar participant names can be included in Azure processing with your permission; recording-notice emails remain drafts you review and send yourself.

YOUR FILES AND PRIVACY
Your notes and recordings remain in your device vault. Recapp does not provide cloud vault synchronization or backup. With your consent, selected audio, transcript and question context are sent to Azure for processing. Only screenshots you explicitly include are sent as visual context; originals remain local. Transfers are encrypted in transit; Azure decrypts the content to process it. Microsoft may temporarily retain flagged content for abuse monitoring, and processing may occur outside Canada.

English and Spanish interfaces, with light, dark and automatic appearance. AI output and speaker labels can contain mistakes; check important details against the recording and obtain participants’ permission before recording.

Soft colors, a friendly paper companion and fluid motion make space for your notes. Notes, Record and Library keep mobile navigation simple. Filters and note actions open in sheets; an active recording can be minimized and reopened. Light, dark and reduced-motion preferences are supported.
