Tap Start as you pull away with the kids, watch the fare climb just like a real cab, and tap End Trip when you arrive. Then send them a receipt they can pay in cash, chores or hugs.

A PROPER TAXI METER
• A pick-up charge, a rate per mile and waiting time when you're stuck outside a party.
• A late-night rate after dark, worked out on your phone from where the trip starts.
• Set your own rates, or keep the sensible Standard tariff.
• Nothing to touch while you drive: one big button to start, one to end.
• The fare stays on your Lock Screen while the phone's in your pocket.

RECEIPTS THEY'LL ACTUALLY READ
• A cheeky receipt for every trip: from Newbury to Thatcham, 5.2 miles, £13.20.
• Pay in money, or turn the fare into chores from your own price list: bins out, the dishwasher, washing the car.
• Hugs are always accepted as a tip.
• Share it to the family chat in a tap. Receipts show the town, never your street.

A RUNNING TAB FOR EACH CHILD
• See who owes what, this week, this month and this year.
• Settle up however suits: paid, paid in chores, paid in hugs, or let off.
• Split trips between siblings automatically.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
• Trips live on your phone and in your own iCloud, so they follow you to your iPad. We can't see them.
• Location is only used while the meter is running.
• Children are a first name and an emoji. Nothing else.
• Export every trip, or delete everything, whenever you like.
