UltraLocked: Secure File Vault

UltraLocked is a local iPhone vault for private documents, photos, voice recordings, and notes. Vault files stay on your device unless you explicitly export them. No vault account or cloud vault is required.

DEVICE-BOUND FILE PROTECTION

Secure Enclave-backed P-256 keys support key agreement and signatures. File contents are encrypted with AES-GCM using CryptoKit in the app. App unlock supports biometrics and a PIN, with optional configured time and trusted-location checks.

PRIVATE DOCUMENTS AND NOTES

Import files, write encrypted notes, and capture photos, video, or voice recordings into your vault. Storage is limited by available device space. Supported speech features require on-device recognition; unsupported devices or locales cannot use those features.

ENCRYPTED TRANSFER

Export passphrase-protected .ultralocked bundles and import them on another device. Export requires Premium; import remains available without a subscription. Keep your export passphrase and any copies secure. We cannot recover device-bound vault keys or forgotten export passphrases.

CRYPTO SECRETS

Store recovery material with BIP-39 validation, configurable reveal delays, and Shamir sharing. UltraLocked is not a cryptocurrency wallet. Keep independently verified backups; an inaccessible or erased device vault may be unrecoverable.

OPTIONAL SECURITY CONTROLS

A duress PIN can show a decoy vault and request destruction of the real vault. Emergency destruction invalidates the vault master keys and removes associated files and secrets. This cannot erase copies already exported elsewhere or guarantee physical flash erasure.

File expiration and dead-man-switch controls enforce deadlines when the app can run. iOS does not guarantee deletion at a precise time while suspended, force-quit, powered off, or before first unlock. Local device and tamper checks are heuristics; they are not a guarantee against a compromised device or coercion.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Premium is available monthly or annually. Prices, billing periods, and any eligible offers are shown by Apple before purchase. There is currently no introductory free trial. Purchases are charged to your Apple Account and renew automatically unless canceled in App Store settings. A subscription does not create unlimited physical storage.

Vault content is not stored on our servers. Apple purchase services and optional help pages use the network. Older app versions may also contact our transaction validator or Apple's speech services.
