TethrX is a native, private, independent remote for Grok Build, SpaceXAI's terminal coding agent. Your phone is only a control plane, Grok, its tools, and your code stay on your own machine. TethrX connects to a small open-source bridge you run on your computer.

• Watch Grok work in real time — thoughts, commands, file edits, and their output.
• Approve or reject every tool call — from the app, or straight from a push notification on your lock screen.
• Plan mode — Grok drafts a plan; you review and approve it before it builds.
• Review what changed — per-file diffs, commit or discard from your phone.
• Queue follow-ups, branch sessions, schedule recurring tasks, dictate messages.
• No accounts, no tracking, no third-party servers. Your phone talks only to your bridge, direct, over Tailscale, with certificate-pinned HTTPS.

Requires your own Grok Build install (SuperGrok / SuperGrok Heavy / X Premium+) and the TethrX bridge running on your computer (npx tethrx-bridge). Setup takes a couple of minutes.

• A cleaner design in light and dark: native lists, system colors, and text that stays readable at every size.
• TethrX on Apple Watch: see what needs you, approve or deny from your wrist (anything destructive asks first), read Grok's last reply, and dictate a follow-up. Add the complication to your watch face.
• Answer approvals and plan reviews straight from the session list, without opening the conversation.
• Choose the model and reasoning effort for each session, right from the message box.
• Typing stays instant while Grok streams its reply, and your message appears the moment you send it.
• Saved prompts go into any session from its new Prompts button.
• Safer approvals: a single tap always means allow once, and long commands are shown and judged in full.
• Live Activities and the home screen widget stay accurate, and tapping them opens the session.
• Many fixes for reliability and connection security. Update the TethrX bridge on your computer to get all of them.
