DAMA is a picture censor App focused on protecting privacy information. It can recognize the text in pictures and automatically censor the privacy information in them. You can also censor any text very conveniently. Just click wherever you want to censor.

DAMA can automatically detect the following information:

* Phone numbers, mobile phone numbers, email addresses

* Faces, QR codes

* IDs and long numbers that may expose information

* IP addresses, license plates

* Avatars and nicknames in WeChat group chats and Moments

* Names, place names, organizations, company names (experimental nature)

You can also tap on the text area in the picture, and DAMA will automatically censor the entire line of text. Or slide on the picture to select any rectangular area for censoring.

When you share pictures through DAMA, the privacy information in EXIF/TIFF such as GPS and camera will be automatically removed.


# Censoring Styles

DAMA provides annotation tools such as color blocks, pixelation, blurring, marker pens, and hiding text. If the background of the text is nearly solid color, then you can use the "Hide Text" tool to completely hide the text in the picture.


# Why make this product?

I often need to share screenshots and photos on social media and the Internet. But every time I have to spend time manually censoring the privacy and text information in the pictures, which is very troublesome. So I decided to make one myself.

We will also keep optimizing the recognition rules of DAMA and hope that DAMA can help you protect your privacy more efficiently.

Thanks to the powerful chip of the iPhone, DAMA uses device-side recognition technology and can complete recognition and detection without being connected to the Internet. We will not upload any of your pictures and any data.
