There is a pause function that erects a barrier between you and those time-wasting apps, and you can read a passage of the Quran.

You choose the apps you want to protect. When you open one of the apps, a pause screen appears, replacing the app and guiding you to read a short segment of the Quran. After the reading, the app is enabled for a period of time and then protected again.

Since life doesn't always go according to plan, you have a certain number of exemptions per day to open the app for ten minutes without reading. You choose the number and also the recovery time.

Privacy here is not a promise but an architecture:
The app doesn't connect to the network at the beginning. All content - your reading location, statistics, list of protected apps - is only kept on your device. The app doesn't know the names of the apps you choose to protect; the iOS system doesn't tell it and it doesn't need to know.

The pause doesn't monitor you and doesn't submit reports about you to anyone. It's you who set up this barrier and it's you who can remove it.
