Sonatide is an endless lo-fi soundscape for focus, reading, studying, late-night work, and slow moments between tasks. Music is generated in real time on your device, so there is no playlist to finish and no stream or connection required.

EXPLORE 13 SOUND WORLDS
Travel from the moonlit hi-fi warmth of 1963 through the tape character of the 1970s, CRT color of the 1980s, after-hours boom-bap of 1994, and optimistic digital textures of 2001. Then step into four imaginary worlds: Tidepool Observatory, Orbital Greenhouse Noon, Lanterns Across the Snow, and Basalt Radio Canyon.

Every world has its own instruments, rhythm, palette, animated artwork, and evolving performance. Sonatide moves across 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, six-beat, boom-bap, broken-beat, two-step, and dub-inspired grooves without repeating a fixed playlist.

SHAPE THE ATMOSPHERE
Listen to music on its own, let Auto match an ambience to the world, or choose rain, sun, ocean, birds, CRT hum, and more. Balance music and ambience independently. Sonatide remembers each ambience level and gives you a short preview as you choose.

FOCUS, THEN FADE OUT
Start a 15, 30, 45, or 60 minute focus session. When time is up, playback fades out gently.

SAVE THE RIGHT MIX
Save up to 12 favorite combinations of world, ambience, music level, and ambience level, then restore any mix with one tap.

TURN FOR CLOCK MODE
Rotate your iPhone for a retro landscape desk clock. Tap to play or pause, swipe between worlds, choose 12- or 24-hour time, and optionally keep the display awake while listening. On iPad, Sonatide gradually settles into a calm clock view during playback.

KEEP LISTENING
Audio continues when you switch apps or lock the screen. Play, pause, or move between worlds from system media controls.
