The Idea: Lens is a creative application that bridges poetry and photography. It challenges you to translate evocative lines of verse into visual art, flexing your imaginative muscles and developing your eye for composition. Get inspired, take the shot, and master the language of light.

This screen is your gallery of poetic visual responses.
Association Display: All user-created entries are displayed here, showing the poetic line paired with the photo you took or selected.
Give me an association: Tap this button to receive a randomized line of poetry from a curated list of verses, literary quotes, and evocative phrases.
Creating an Entry
Once you receive a line, you are prompted to pair it with an image:
Add Photo: You can take a new photo in real-time using your camera or select one from your existing gallery.
Save: Once the image is attached, the complete entry (the line of text + your photo) is sent to the Main Screen.
