应用市场介绍

MWeb was born in 2015 and is a software focusing on Markdown writing, note-taking and publishing. If you like Markdown or writing, we highly recommend you to try MWeb.
Simply put, MWeb consists of four modules: a complete and stable editor, a folder mode for managing documents, a document library mode dedicated to notes, and a document publishing and sharing feature set. The software feature of MWeb is that for each platform, the best technology will be selected. It is built with AppKit on macOS and UIKit on iOS/iPadOS. The following is a brief introduction to these four modules. If you are interested, you can continue reading.
## MWeb's Editor
For writing and note-taking, the editor is the foundation of everything. The following are some key features of the editor:
* Based on the most popular CommonMark syntax standard and GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) extended syntax, supporting syntax such as TOC, tables, code blocks, mathematical formulas, task lists, footnotes, etc.
* Display the full text of Markdown documents without any deletion. We believe this is the key to maintaining simplicity and efficiency.
* Images can be directly displayed in the editor, supporting formats such as jpg, png, gif, webP, HEIC, etc.
* Mathematical formulas, mermaid and Echarts drawings can be previewed in the editor.
* You can set one or multiple fonts you like for writing.
* You can choose 11 light themes and 21 dark themes, and custom themes are also supported.
* There is a menu for easily inputting Markdown syntax, and a dedicated Markdown syntax keyboard is also provided in iOS.
* There is a convenient tool for generating and formatting Markdown table syntax.
* You can view the outline and word count of Markdown documents, and the macOS version also supports pinning to the left or right side of the editor.
* You can preview Markdown documents, supporting precise preview while editing.
## MWeb's Folder Mode
The first requirement of Markdown is to create and edit Markdown documents, and MWeb's folder mode does this. It supports the following features:
* Create Markdown, Textbundle documents, or simply open them for editing.
* Import a folder with Markdown documents into MWeb's folder mode, and MWeb will provide practical functions such as management of Markdown documents, full-text search, copying and pasting to insert pictures, and unified storage of referenced pictures.
* Deeply optimized according to the usage habits of each platform. In macOS, it has a classic two-column design, with the left column being the tree structure of the imported folder and the right column being the opened document. It supports features of the macOS system such as multiple windows and multiple tabs, and multiple documents can be opened simultaneously. In iPadOS, it supports features such as multiple windows and toolbars.
* The iPadOS/iOS version supports importing Dropbox folders.
* Supports managing Markdown documents of static blogs such as Jekyll or hexo. The usage method is very simple, just import the folder where the Markdown documents are located.
## MWeb's Document Library
Markdown is so useful that note-taking is also a very big need. Of course, you can use the folder mode to import a folder for note-taking, and this method is also very good and easy to share. So why do we still create a separate document library mode? The main reason is that the document library mode has the following features:
* There is no need to consider file names, titles and storage locations. When adding a new note, it is just an editor where you can directly input and record freely.
* Manage notes with a classification tree and tags. A single note can be classified into multiple categories, making it easier to set categories for notes.
* It is more convenient to organize notes. When moving categories and notes, or renaming categories, they do not affect each other. There is no need to worry about incorrect associations between notes, incorrect reference locations of pictures and attachments within notes, etc.
* Complete cross-device synchronization, implemented using iCloud CloudKit technology, supported by macOS, iPadOS and iOS.
* The document library follows the "local first" principle and is uniformly stored in a folder, which is convenient for management and backup. Even if you use iCloud synchronization, you can also fully back up the document library locally.
* Export the entire category of notes as PDF or Epub e-books.
