LIVE TRANSCRIPTION AND TRANSLATION
See speech as live captions in the spoken language, or use translation to read it in another language. Choose the language being spoken and, for translation, the language you want to read.

TEXT AT A SIZE THAT SUITS YOU
Spread two fingers apart on the text to make the letters larger. Pinch them together to make the letters smaller. Your preferred text size is remembered for next time.

GO BACK WHEN YOU MISS SOMETHING
Scroll up to reread earlier text in the current conversation. The view stays where you are reading instead of jumping to the newest words. Scroll all the way to the bottom to resume automatically following the live text. This works with both captions and translations.

SIMPLE TO USE
Choose a language and tap the red button to start listening. Tap again to stop. The indicator inside the button shows microphone activity, and clear progress messages let you know when translation is getting ready. Stop listening before changing languages or switching between transcription and translation.

LANGUAGES AND AVAILABILITY
Live transcription is available on iOS 15 and later. Translation requires iOS 18 or later. Available languages depend on your device and operating system and are updated automatically as support becomes available. Translation language resources may need to be downloaded before use.

LiveCap is a one-time purchase with no subscription. No account or sign-in is required. Microphone and Speech Recognition access are needed to transcribe speech.
