Gomgom: Screen-Free Reading

Gomgom is an AI reading and writing coach that keeps children on paper and pencil instead of a screen. For grades 4 through 9, one piece a day: read, think, write.

This is not an app you leave running. The passage prints to A4 and is read on paper. The thinking is written by hand, on paper. The app is opened only to photograph the finished page and let Gomgom ask a question about it. No screen-time guilt — just the habit of sitting with paper and pencil.

Gomgom the bear never hands over the answer. It asks the kind of question that makes a child push their own thinking one step further.

Please note: Gomgom is a Korean-language app. The reading passages, the coaching conversations, and the entire interface are in Korean. This listing is in English so Korean-speaking families abroad can find it.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Read the passage — social studies, science, literature, and ethics texts matched to your child's grade, printed on paper (every passage has a PDF print button)
2. Take a stance — decide whether you agree with the writer's claim
3. Write your reasons — put down why you think what you think
4. Talk it through with Gomgom — answer Gomgom's questions and sharpen the thought
5. Keep it as a finished piece — reading, thinking, and writing stack up as a learning record

FOR PARENTS
- Reading happens on paper. Screen reading is not the default; the app is for what comes after — talking the thinking through and keeping the record.
- No ads. There are none anywhere in the app.
- Minimal data from your child. Sign-up and payment run through the parent account, and the child uses only a nickname and a grade. We do not collect a child's real name or date of birth.

- Thinking: separating a claim from its evidence, and holding a position of your own
- Literacy: the habit of reading a grade-level passage calmly, all the way to the end

SUBSCRIPTION
Gomgom Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. The price is shown on the App Store purchase sheet before payment.
