HeyJerni: Receipt Scanner

HeyJerni turns a shoebox of receipts into a tidy, tax-ready record, without sending a single expense to the cloud.

Photograph a receipt (or a whole stack) and the on-device AI reads the amount, merchant and date for you. Import a bank statement and tick off what you never recorded. Ask questions about your own spending in plain English. At tax time, export everything your accountant needs in one tap. No account, no bank linking.

• Snap one receipt or a whole stack, and each page becomes its own record
• Or share them in: a photo from Photos, a screenshot, an emailed receipt, straight from the share sheet of any app
• On-device AI extracts amount, merchant and date; you just review and save

READ A BANK STATEMENT
• Share the PDF your bank exports, from Files, Mail or your banking app, and see the month as a checklist
• Nothing is written until you tick it, so importing never doubles up a receipt you already kept
• Transfers between your own accounts stay out of your spending, and the app remembers which accounts are yours
• Most charges arrive already filed: myki and Opal top-ups, tolls, fuel, pharmacies, telcos, water and power
• Leave it half done and pick it up later. It waits on the Records screen until you say otherwise

• A statement you import is read on the device and deleted when you are done with it
• Ads in the free version are non-personalised; the app never asks for tracking permission
• Backups are archives you create and keep yourself, wherever you choose

WORKS OFFLINE
After a one-time AI model download (about 1.3 GB, Wi-Fi recommended), scanning, categorising and asking all run with no internet connection at all.

FREE, AND NOTHING IS LOCKED
Every feature is free. A small banner ad keeps the lights on, and there are two ways to switch it off. Neither unlocks anything extra, because there is nothing extra to unlock:
