Pantone Connect

The essential Pantone color app for designers and color experts! Pantone Connect streamlines the process from color inspiration to design, allowing you to easily measure the colors of physical materials and compare them with Pantone colors, share your inspiration color collections on social media, and browse any updated Pantone color system on the go to find the perfect hue.

This app, when used with Pantone color matching cards, calibrates your iOS device's camera to measure colors. The captured colors are quickly compared to find the closest Pantone color, which is more accurate than selecting colors from photos. Please confirm the compatibility of your iOS device and the card before ordering the color matching card. Although most device models are compatible, we are constantly expanding the list of compatible devices.

This app is part of the new Pantone Connect digital color platform and is available on mobile, web, and Adobe Creative Cloud (extended functionality), meaning the colors you discover on the go can be easily applied to your design files when you return to the studio.

The following features are still free for everyone to use on mobile and web:
- All Pantone colors, always up-to-date
- sRGB and Hex values for all colors
- Measuring colors with Pantone color matching cards
- Extracting colors from images
- Sharing color collections + images on social media
- Searching, browsing, categorizing, and filtering color libraries
- Color pairs in the Cross-References (X-Ref) Pantone system
- Pantone's trend color collections

The paid premium features for mobile and tablets are currently also free to use and will include:
- CMYK and L*a*b* values for all colors
- Converting from sRGB, Hex, L*a*b*, and CMYK values to Pantone colors
- Saving more than 1 color collection and team collaboration for sharing color collections
- Providing adjacent colors with nuances
- Color combinations

Account:
Currently, during our active development and improvement of this platform, Pantone Connect can be used completely free of charge, including all paid premium features. A free account can be created within the app. A paid account can be enabled on the Pantone website.

Compatibility with other Pantone apps:
A Pantone Connect account cannot be used with the Pantone Studio iOS app, and vice versa. Users who pay for Pantone Studio are not eligible for Pantone Connect.
