Your files, encrypted on your device before they leave it.

Vaultyx is zero-knowledge cloud storage. We never see your keys, which means we can't read your files, and that doesn't change when a third party asks.

How it works

Files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM on your phone, split into small chunks, and uploaded to Katafract's own node network. Each file has its own key. Each folder has its own key. A 24-word recovery phrase restores your vault on a new device.

Privacy boundaries

The company running the service literally cannot read what you store. The encryption runs before upload. The keys live in your iOS Keychain. If iCloud Keychain is on, they sync to your other Apple devices automatically.

Compared to iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive

Those services encrypt your files at rest, but they hold the keys. They scan content. They hand over plaintext when asked. Vaultyx can't do any of that. We don't have the key.

What we don't do

No content scanning. No ads. No phone-home analytics. No third-party tracking SDKs. No AI training on your files.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of each period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
