Days Strong counts two things: the days you didn't, and the days you did. What
you stopped, what you started, what it is all for, and now how you are
sleeping.

FORGETTING NEVER COSTS YOU A STREAK
Most trackers quietly punish you for not opening them: a day you did not log
becomes a day you failed. This one does not.

• Every past day stays editable, for ever. A week later or a year makes no
difference.
• Three answers, not two. Done, slipped, and an amber "I couldn't" for illness,
travel, a broken leg. Amber days are skipped by the maths entirely. They
cannot break a streak and cannot drag down a percentage.
• Miss a day on something that had a run going and the app offers that day
back, rather than waiting for you to find it.
• Owning a slip is one tap, and deliberately plain rather than alarming. The
run you had and your best ever both survive it.

WHAT YOU STOPPED
A live counter, down to the second, backdated to the moment you actually
stopped. What you have not spent, and what you have not consumed. A recovery
timeline showing what your body is doing about it, which phase you are in
today, and what is happening underneath. Every claim names its source, or says
openly that it is commonly reported rather than proven.

WHAT YOU STARTED
Current streak, best-ever streak, and one tap to record today. Every day,
chosen weekdays, or a number of times a week. Countable habits too, so eight
glasses of water fills up as the day goes on rather than one tick you either
earned or didn't. A badge for every seven days you hold, counted across every
run, so a slip can never take one back.

SLEEP, AND THE HOUR BEFORE IT
Type in a night yourself, or let Days Strong read it from Apple Health. See the
whole month, and open any night for what each stage of sleep is actually for.
It will not grade you: normal ranges are wide, and one night tells you little.

The wind-down works backwards. Say when you have to be up and how much sleep
you want, choose which evenings it applies to, and it tells you when your
evening should end.

Sleep is not a habit here: no streak, no badge, no way to fail.

WHAT IT IS ALL FOR
Goals, because the counting is not the point. A money goal fills itself from
what the quit habits no longer cost you, so the cigarettes you did not buy
turn into the thing you actually wanted.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN AND LOCK SCREEN
Three home screen sizes and two lock screen ones, each pointed at whichever
habit you choose. They count on their own, so the figure is right without
opening anything.

BAN YOURSELF
For gambling, Learn carries the UK self-exclusion schemes, the National
Gambling Helpline, and a pre-written letter for closing an account. Days Strong
never registers you for anything. Each one is a signpost, and the letter is
one you send yourself.

IT NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE
There is no account to make and no server to sign in to. Everything you enter
is written to a database inside the app on your own device and stays there. No
analytics. No trackers. No third-party code. No ads. The optional Apple Health
connection reads your step count and your sleep, nothing else, and that stays
on your device too. Days Strong keeps an automatic backup in your own iCloud,
and you can write your whole history out as a single file and read it back on
another device.

FREE, AND ONE PAYMENT IF YOU WANT MORE
Two habits and a goal are free for as long as you like. £4.99 once unlocks
unlimited habits, goals and the money that feeds them, and the widgets. One
payment, not a subscription, and it never becomes one. Apple Health is free.
Nothing you have already recorded is ever behind it: seeing, editing and
exporting your history stays free whatever you decide.

Health timelines here are general guidance, not medical advice. Stopping some
substances suddenly, alcohol above all, can be dangerous, and the app says so
before it shows you anything. Talk to a doctor before you stop.
