Hiiro is a marathon preparation app. The training plans, the workouts, and the coaching answers inside the app all come from a certified coaching team with real marathon experience. We didn't build another AI that scrapes running blogs and spits out a schedule. We took what our coaches know and turned it into a system that adapts to you.
WHY COACHES USE RPE (AND WHY YOU SHOULD TOO)
Most marathon apps train you by pace or heart rate. Run 5:30/km. Keep your heart rate under 150. Sounds precise, but it ignores how you actually feel on any given day. Had a rough night? Stressful week? Those numbers don't care. You push through, overload your body, and that's when injuries happen.
Hiiro trains you by RPE, Rate of Perceived Exertion. We tell you: run this segment at RPE 4, a pace where you could hold a conversation without losing your breath. Or RPE 8, where talking is out of the question.
The beauty of this: RPE 4 on a good day is a jog. RPE 4 on a bad day might be a brisk walk. Both are the right training for that day. Your plan stays honest to where your body actually is, not where a spreadsheet says it should be.
Our Head Coach is UESCA-certified. The methodology is developed by sports scientists, physiologists, and experienced marathon runners. This is tested coaching knowledge in app form.

YOUR PLAN ADAPTS TO YOUR LIFE
Missed Tuesday's run because work blew up? The plan recalibrates. You don't stack sessions or skip ahead. Hiiro adjusts the week so the training load still makes sense.
The plan also accounts for where you're starting. Never run a marathon before? First few weeks are walk-run intervals, building your base gradually. Already have a few races behind you? The plan reflects that.

Hiiro has a catalogue of marathons worldwide. Dates, routes, difficulty ratings, certifications. Find your race, commit to it, and the app builds your preparation timeline backwards from race day.
Having a specific race changes how you train. It's not "I'll run a marathon someday." It's "I'm running Valencia on December 1st and I have 24 weeks."

Subscription Information:
Hiiro offers monthly and annual subscriptions with a 1-week free trial. Pricing is displayed in your local currency on the App Store. If you do not cancel during the trial period, payment will be charged. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period; payment is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
