Preview what a story is about, then get routed to the exact spot. Some stories are a block away. Some are across town.

Some stories preview from anywhere. Others only play once you're standing in the actual spot. Vignettz rewards being there, not just scrolling.

Anyone can record a story and pin it to the map. Over time, every neighborhood builds up its own layer of lore, left by the people who actually live it.

Follow a curated walk through a set of stories, stop by stop, and hear a neighborhood the way the people who know it would tell it.

Vignettz uses your location only while the app is open, to show nearby stories and confirm you're at a story's spot. It never tracks you in the background.

Every story is reviewed before it goes live. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
