The Quran is good news from Allah to all mankind and jinns, a guidance and support for all actions, and a must for all Muslims to follow. It leads people to happiness in this world and a noble status in the hereafter. Reciting the Quran brings great light and is crucial for the lives of Muslims.
The Quran surpasses any other book because it is Allah's revelation, unparalleled in stories, its recitation and memorization enhance memory, and its rhythm conforms to the narration of Ibn Mas'ud and is accurate. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever recites the Book of Allah, there will be a light for him to shine. Each light will bring a reward for him, and even the letter 'alif' will be a reward, the letter 'lam' will be a reward, and the letter'mim' will be a reward." Muslims should attach great importance to reciting, understanding, and practicing the Quran, because there is a narration that says: "Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'The best of people are those who recite the Quran and teach it to others.'"
