Photo-Planner

An app to visualize the field of view for selected cameras and lenses and overlay it onto a map. In addition one can also visualize the depth of field.
This can be useful when planning for example a landscape shot where you need to know if the lens you plan to choose will fit for the location.
Another example could be an architectural shot where you need to check whether the lens will work with the given distance to the object.
It will show you the actual field size (width x height) and also the depth of field in meter for the selected combination of aperture and focal length.
In addition you can overlay the sunrise, sunset, blue- and golden-hour for the current map location and a selected date and time.
After you have added a lens and a camera, you can set the camera position and the lens position which will show you the field of view and the depth of field for the
selected aperture and focal length. You can set up to two teleconverters to get an idea on how the field of view will change.
If connected to the internet, you can also get an elevation view for the line of sight to check whether you have a clear view to the subject.
You can also get a prediction of the sunrise and sunset quality for the current location for today when connected to the internet.
The position of the milky way core can be shown for a given date and time in a little window so that you will be able if it is visible at all.
In case you need to know the current moon phase you at the camera position you can also get that information.
You can store planned photo shoots with their settings and restore them later on again. Stored photo shoots will be shown on the map.
