Aladinn

The Aladinn project is built around solving the major problems in the agricultural supply chain within Nigeria, Africa and other developing countries. Our model is built on decentralization, by empowering people to aid us to find smallholder farmers in remote areas. Where ever smallholder farmers are, the Aladinn app will find them and enable them to sell faster to a global market and store excess yield.

Our uniqueness goes beyond offering remote farmers on-demand silo storage and faster sales via a real-time, connected marketplace, we also provide quality and accessible training via agents/intermediate who use the library and training centre on the application to teach farmers about space-efficient storage systems conducive for certain kind of crops as well as best crop/soil rotational practices to improve production among other kinds of content, thought to them in their local language. Our next pilot also includes data-sharing modules to train farmers on how to use technologies such as drones and sensors as well as provide access to data on their geography to help them utilize their resources even better.

We provide conditioned storage and also logistics from farms to factories and with more funding access, we aim to build conditioned transport units that can keep products healthier even while commuting longer distances.

Our approach is all-encompassing, to ensure local farmers can make the most of their resources, we provide production support, training and advisory, storage, logistics and sales in an all-in-one package, using minimal resources and empowering more people to engage in agriculture from rural to urban areas, yet our next iteration also promises to do more, being built from the feedback of farmers.
