Focusmaxxing

Focusmaxxing is a self-control app for people who want stronger friction between themselves and distracting apps.
Choose the apps and categories you want to block, start a focus session, and Focusmaxxing shields them using Apple Screen Time APIs. To end a session, scan a registered NFC card or QR code. The goal is simple: make quitting your block intentional, physical, and just annoying enough to help.

Sports Commitment Mode
Put your focus on the line when your team takes the field. Before a game starts, choose a team and commit to a focus session tied to the outcome. If your team wins, your session ends and your apps unlock. If your team loses, a bonus focus period activates — keeping you off distracting apps a little longer. Just a fan's way of staying accountable and present on game day. It's a focus challenge.

Focusmaxxing Monthly is required to access app blocking features after the free trial. The subscription unlocks:

Emergency unlock support
Emergency Unlock is a separate optional one-time purchase that appears only during an active blocking session. It is intended for recovery if you cannot access your registered NFC or QR unlock key.
Focusmaxxing does not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising. The app uses Apple Screen Time, StoreKit, CloudKit/iCloud, camera, NFC, motion, and location permissions only for app functionality.
