Why We Built This
Missing someone doesn't follow a timeline. Some days you want to share good news with someone who's gone. Other days, you just want to say "I miss you." Starlight Sanctuary was born from the belief that writing to those we've lost can bring comfort, and that love transcends even the furthest distances. This is not therapy — it's a quiet, personal ritual. A moment to pause, reflect, and feel connected.

How It Works
You write a message to someone you've lost — it could be a letter, a thought, a memory, or just a few words you needed to say. Each message costs just £1, which helps us keep the platform running and cared for.

You choose whether your message is public (visible as a star in the Galaxy for others to read and find comfort in) or private (kept safely in your personal sanctuary, visible only to you).

Once sent, your message becomes a star — a small light in the universe, carrying your words into the cosmos.

Your Trust Matters
We understand that sharing your feelings requires trust. Here's what we promise:

Private messages stay private. Only you can see them. We will never share, sell, or display your private messages.
Payments are secure. Payments are processed securely via Apple In-App Purchase, one of the world's most trusted payment providers. We never see or store your card details.
No spam, no tricks. We don't send marketing emails, we don't sell your data, and there are no hidden fees. One message = £1, simple as that.
You can delete any message — public or private — at any time from your sanctuary. Your words, your choice.
