ECG Buddy (EB) Research is a tool for researching and teaching ECG AI. It is built for researchers, medical and nursing educators, students, and clinicians who need to review past cases. Built on ARPI Inc.'s ECG analysis technology, it lets you explore developmental and experimental biomarkers and next-generation versions not included in our cleared products — for research and educational purposes only.

[What you can do]
• Test ARPI Inc.'s analysis technology directly on a wide range of ECG images available in the public domain, such as those in textbooks, academic materials, and online.
• Examine rhythm classification and digital biomarker outputs in a research and educational context, and preview developmental and new biomarkers — as well as next-generation versions of existing biomarkers — not found in our cleared products.
• Use biomarker values and their interpretation for education and learning, including retrospective case review, conference presentations, and lecture and seminar material.
• Depending on your research purpose, study and evaluate the performance of various biomarker-based clinical assessment tools (investigational use).

• ARPI Inc.'s ECG digital biomarkers have been validated for accuracy and clinical utility across more than 20 published papers.
• EB Research is a tool for accumulating research evidence for new biomarkers and clinical assessment tools, and this evidence serves as the foundation for future regulatory clearance.
• It operates under the ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 international security certifications.

• EB Research is not a medical device and must not be used for any clinical decision-making, including patient diagnosis or treatment.
• Many of the biomarkers and clinical assessment tools this app provides are developmental and research-stage items that have not been cleared by the MFDS or other regulatory authorities. Outputs may differ from those of cleared products, and clinical accuracy is not guaranteed.
• All outputs are provided for research and educational purposes only. When actual patient care is required, you must rely on a medical device cleared in your country and the judgment of a physician.
• When using EB Research for research, determining whether IRB approval or exemption applies — and complying with the relevant procedures — is the responsibility of the user and their institution. Please ensure your use meets the ethical requirements appropriate to your study design.
• For clinical ECG analysis, please use ECG Buddy, a cleared medical device; for cardiac health assessment and screening, please use ECG Buddy Clinic.

• One credit is used per analysis, and credits are issued automatically each month.
• Start for free: analyze up to 3 per day and 30 per month at no cost.
• Paid subscription ($19/month or $190/year): analyze up to 20 per day and 200 per month.
