EarDrum CD

EarDrum CD is a simple offline player for people who still prefer to own their music. It lets you pick a folder with all your songs and turns it into an album. Any subfolders will automatically become their own albums.

EarDrum CD plays everything iOS can decode natively. Basically, if iOS can play it, EarDrum CD can play it!

It also works entirely offline as that is the point of this app. However, if you have an internet connection, EarDrum CD will retrieve metadata from iTunes to enrich your older files with up-to-date info and artwork. Also, if more than 50% of your songs have the same artwork, EarDrum CD will use it for your album. If most of your songs have no artwork, the Album will be assigned a default gradient color. You may also add your own Artwork directly from one of its songs or use any picture from your Photos app.

Because your albums reflect what you add from your storage, if you delete a folder from your Files app, the matching album disappears the next time you open EarDrum CD. Nothing is copied or duplicated to a hidden location.

The app also provides a favorite section, where you can listen to your favorite playlist. To favorite a song, simply swipe right on it. You may also swipe left to unfavorite.
