Baker’s Percentage is a focused iOS calculator for bread formulas, batch scaling, flour splits, extra ingredients, and effective hydration.
Start with the dough you want to bake. Set the loaf count and dough weight per loaf, then adjust hydration, yeast, salt, flour names, and additions. The app works backward to show a clear weighing sheet with grams and baker’s percentages for every ingredient.
Target Dough Scaling
Enter loaf count and grams per loaf. The app calculates total dough weight and the flour needed for the formula.
Flour Splits
Use one flour or enable a second flour. Set its share of total flour and the primary flour adjusts automatically.
Extra Ingredients
Add ingredients like butter, oil, egg, sugar, yogurt, seeds, or anything else. Enter the gram weight and optional water content.
Effective Hydration
See base hydration and effective hydration separately, including water contributed by extra ingredients.
Clean Weighing Sheet
Every ingredient is shown with its gram weight and baker’s percentage, ready to use at the scale.
Saved Recipes
Save, reopen, duplicate, and delete recipes locally on your device.
