KIIP Study is a Korean vocabulary learning app designed for Chinese and foreign residents in South Korea, focusing on the Ministry of Justice's Social Integration Program (사회통합프로그램 / KIIP). Whether you are a novice about to sign up for the pre-assessment (사전평가, CBT/PBT, 38,000 won), preparing for the mid-term assessment of level 4, or only need one comprehensive assessment to obtain the F-5 permanent residency, KIIP Study is designed for those 5-minute fragmented times like during commuting, lunch breaks, or before going to bed - there is no need to squeeze out a whole period of time for rigid learning.

◆ Why KIIP is Different

Ordinary Korean learning apps (Duolingo, general Anki decks, TOPIK textbooks) teach daily conversations or TOPIK vocabulary, which hardly overlaps with the vocabulary that appears in KIIP's pre-assessment, stage assessment (KLCT), and comprehensive assessment (KIPRAT for permanent residency / KINAT for naturalization). KIIP Study is built around the official KIIP textbook of the Ministry of Justice, 《한국어와 한국문화》, advancing lesson by lesson according to the textbook units, from level 1 (Elementary I, 18 units) to level 5 (for permanent residency and naturalization). ◆ Suitable for Four Types of KIIP Learners

• Beginners at level 1 - 2 - You just signed up for 사전평가 and don't know where to start. One lesson per day, one word per screen. The learning threshold is deliberately lowered.

• Applicants for additional points of F-2-7 - KIIP level 5 = 20 points for Korean on the F-2-7 scoring table + 10 points for graduation bonus (need to pass with 80/120 points). Workers transferring from E-9 to F-2-7, D-2 international students, and E-7 professionals regard KIIP as the fastest Korean certificate - and different from TOPIK, the KIIP certificate doesn't expire.

• Applicants for F-5 permanent residency and naturalization - Completing KIIP level 5 can exempt the Korean requirements for most F-5 categories and exempt the Korean written test and interview for naturalization.

• F-6 marriage immigrants and transferring to F-5-2 - For F-6 renewal, TOPIK level 1 or KIIP level 2 is required to prove Korean proficiency; for F-5-2 marriage immigrant permanent residency, KIIP level 4 is required. Many people sign up through the Multicultural Family Support Center (다문화가족지원센터) and review offline with the same set of vocabulary when they go home.
