WHAT DUFFMATE DOES

• Automatic shot detection — Developed by a fighter aircraft flight control designer with a wife learning the game, the Watch's motion sensors recognize the golf swing and does the counting. Practice swings and cart bumps mostly don't fool it. When one slips through, a quick tap fixes it.

• GPS distance to the green — yardage to the front, middle, and back on every hole. Distance from your last shot is provided, a big help for learning club distances.

• Live wind — speed and direction to the hole on your wrist before you pick a club.

• Putts, your way — tap to log putts separately from your shots. Turn them off if you'd rather not track them.

• Real-time sync — your scorecard and shot history update to your iPhone as you play, hole by hole.

• Scorecard & shot map — after the round, see your full scorecard with saved driving distances on par 4/5's. A satellite map shows where each full shot was taken.

• Stats & personal bests — round history, scoring trends, best rounds, and personal records, all on your phone.
