TL;DR
Sock is a to-do app that works like a paper list — simple, flexible, and easy to use. It's designed for people who write down daily tasks but need something more adaptable than pen and paper.

Add tasks by typing, dictating, or capturing photos with OCR — new items appear in a "Today" section.

Swipe left to mark a task done, swipe right to move it to tomorrow's list. Customize the look with up to 10 color schemes and a choice of app icons.

Sock is free; in-app purchases are optional tips or a paid feature to add images directly to your list.

The image feature lets you snap a photo of anything you don't want to forget — Sock extracts info from it and keeps it in your list.

Do you always write down your tasks for the day on a piece of paper? And then get caught off guard by last-minute changes? Cross out completed tasks? Add unfinished tasks to tomorrow's list? Then Sock is the perfect app for you.

Our to-do list is designed to be as easy to use as your paper to-do list.

That's our philosophy.

But it has to be as flexible as we are, because we're also flexible and adapt quickly and pragmatically to new circumstances.

That sounds like a contradiction, but Sock tries to bridge that gap.

Sock adds new tasks by

- typing on the keyboard

- dictating via the microphone

- or even from photos via OCR, whether taken beforehand or captured live with the camera.

The new tasks appear in a small list section labeled "Today."
If a task can't be completed today, you can swipe right to move it to a list containing tasks for tomorrow or the near future.

Have you completed a task? Congratulations, be proud of yourself. With a swipe to the left, you can cross it off and move it up to the sublist for completed tasks.

If a list and an app are this simple, then they should at least be visually appealing and motivating. To that end, Sock supports various color schemes. Some are predefined, but you can customize your colors yourself according to your own. If you don't like the icon, that's no problem either. Just tap the icon in the top left corner and choose one from many pre-made icons.

Sock is completely free.

However, there are a few in-app purchases. Don't worry—these are simply tips for me. It makes me feel better, and you're buying yourself some good karma.

There's also an item that actually expands Sock's functionality. It's about adding images to your to-do list. This is incredibly handy when you're at the bus stop, on YouTube, or anywhere else and see something you don't want to forget. Just take a photo and send it to Sock. Sock tries to extract some information from the photos, and you'll have the photo in your to-do list—and now I'll always remind you of what you actually had in mind at that moment. This extra feature costs less than a cup of coffee, but it's surprisingly useful.

With the purchase of the image feature, you also get the possibility to attach a (not too long) PDF to each task.
