【Suspended Update and Maintenance】
Thank you all for your support and company for "Random Alert Sound APP" all the time. From today on, "Random Alert Sound" will suspend the update and maintenance work.
First of all, the original developer is a graduate student and has to temporarily withdraw from the development due to academic pressure. At the same time, in the recent questionnaire survey, users were asked whether they would like to pay for the continuous update of the application (the existing basic functions are free, and only a low fee will be charged for future additional functions). The results showed that 43.75% of the users chose "No, I hope to use all functions for free forever", 4.17% chose "No, I only use free functions", and nearly 50% of the users were unwilling to pay for any functions.
Personally, I fully understand the attraction of free use. However, developing and maintaining an application requires continuous investment of time, technology and cost. Seeing such feedback, both emotionally and rationally, I have to rethink the sustainability of the project. Frankly speaking, I think I have done quite well by working for love. But relying solely on enthusiasm and limited resources, it is really difficult to meet all expectations and maintain long-term updates. Therefore, I have decided to suspend this project.
