Text Translation: Type or paste any text and get an instant translation. Rose supports 55 languages including Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, and many more. Source language is automatically detected, or you can select it manually.

Image Translation: Import a photo from your library or take one with your camera. Rose uses on-device OCR to extract text from the image, then translates it. Nothing is ever sent to a server.



Live Camera Translation: Point your camera at text and see translations overlaid directly on each detected region. Each text block shows its own translation in place, making it easy to read signs, menus, and documents in real time.



Pronunciation Guides: Reading Japanese, Chinese, or Arabic but don't know how to say it? Rose provides AI-generated pronunciation in Latin letters: Romaji, Pinyin, and Romanization for 21 non-Latin scripts. Unlike basic converters, Rose understands context. It reads the original meaning to produce accurate pronunciations, not just character-by-character guesses.



Text-to-Speech: Tap the speaker button to hear any translation read aloud. Rose selects the highest-quality voice available on your device, with support for premium and enhanced voices across all 55 languages.



Phrasebook: Save translations you use often and access them anytime. Your phrasebook is stored entirely on your device, so your saved phrases are always available, even offline.



Translation History: Every translation is automatically saved so you can revisit past results without retranslating. Scroll back through previous sessions to find what you need.



Home Screen Widgets: Pin your favorite phrases to your Home Screen with Phrasebook widgets in small or medium sizes. Use Camera Shortcut and Translate Shortcut widgets to jump straight into translation with a single tap, no need to open the app first.



Favorites & Themes: Star your most-used languages so they appear at the top of every picker. Choose between Light, Dark, or System theme to match your preference.



Fullscreen Mode: Show a translation in large, auto-scaling text. Useful when showing your screen to someone across a counter or table.
