Roots of Humanity

Everything, including art, has a story hidden beneath the surface. Roots of Humanity tells these stories through an educational and inspiring augmented reality (AR) experience. In this AR app, we bring art to life through animation, narration, and interactivity. We use AR to tell the stories the original artists would tell if they were standing right next to you. Through AR, we reveal the layers of depth the artist originally envisioned.

- AR recognition & detection
- Animations that make the art piece come alive
- 3D rendered AR models
- Narrations for each art piece
- User interactions on some AR content, such as rotating and scaling a 3D object
- Parallax effect with different layers of depth on art pieces
