inogolo: Name Pronunciations

Inogolo is dedicated to the English pronunciation of people's names, places, and various things. This application has access to thousands of English pronunciations (most with audio clips). You can browse the pronunciation guides to learn how to pronounce various names organized by category.





You can also search for the names you want to pronounce. Note that the name search will search the complete set of names, including those not in the guide.





You can store the selected names in the favorites list for easy access by selecting the star icon on the screen of the names you want to save.

Some notes:




- For ease of use, the phonetic pronunciations are represented using the corresponding transcriptions without special characters, symbols, or notations (such as in a dictionary or the International Phonetic Alphabet).

— The pronunciations of names from non-English countries are not in the accents and origin languages and are "anglicized" to varying degrees. The pronunciation is American English with an American accent. The goal is not to imitate the accents of Spanish, German, Chinese, and Polish, but to provide a tool to pronounce the names basically correctly.
