Mylo: Private Location Sharing

Mylo is a privacy-first location sharing app for the small groups of people you actually trust — family, close friends, a hiking party, a road trip crew.

Every location, every place, every group name is encrypted on your phone before it leaves your device. We can't see where you are, who you're sharing with, or what you've named your places.

WHY MYLO IS DIFFERENT

• End-to-end encrypted. Your live location, your saved places, and your group's member list are encrypted on-device before they ever touch a server. We hold no key with which to decrypt them.

• No account. No email, no phone number, no password. Your identity is a recovery seed generated on your device — write it down, that's it. No login screens, ever.

• Groups, not followers. Sharing happens inside groups you create. There's no public profile, no friend requests, no discoverability. People you don't add see nothing.

• You're in control. Pause sharing in any group at any time — nothing is shared to your group until you resume. Leave a group and your data is rotated out for the remaining members.

• No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Mylo includes no third-party SDKs for analytics or advertising. The only third-party service we use is anonymous crash reporting — stack traces with every personal identifier stripped on your phone before sending. You can turn it off in Settings.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Share your live location with one or more groups
• Save places (home, work, school, the trailhead) and see who's there
• Get an alert when someone arrives at or leaves a place (Mylo Plus)
• Know when someone's flight lands (Mylo Plus)
• Pause a group when you want privacy without leaving it
• Recover your identity on a new phone with your recovery seed
